Why We Love Sir Mon?

Teachers love every student in their class, even the ones that are hard to love and hard to be loved. Teachers are always there when we need them. They always give their time and effort just to fulfill their part. A great brother, father, grandfather, uncle, friend and teacher is none other than Sir Mon. His name is Monlouie Sorzano.

Why We Love Sir Mon?

Aside from being handsome and cute boy, he is also understanding and kind. We are so thankful that he's our teacher. Even if sometimes we are hard-headed students he is still longing his patience, so that we will not be  hurt. Thank you for all your efforts sir. Sorry for all the pain you suffered, and I hope that you will be good through the years.

It’s Not that Simple

We must be able to heal

So yes, it does seem nice
It looks like a little vacation
But it really is not that simple

I hope that you will never forget us. All the memories that we shared as one class. We are one family, and  I wish that you will never regret the first day of introducing yourself to us. Fathers are GREAT!

You can’t change your destiny, but you can create your own.

This man is my Father, Hero, and the one I love. His name is Rizal Salcedo Asarce, my papa, father, tatay, and the most special man in my life. It's been 7 years since my father passed away. I never realized what life would be without him. I never expect that there will be a time that everyone die. I really missed him so much, like every single day I'm always hoping that he will come back and he will never leave us. But I believe that God has His own purpose why. I thank God for the opportunity of having been your child even for a short time  I am blessed to have been sired by such a great and wonderful man and I will forever love you and appreciate you  I miss you po.

Fathers are great. They are always there to embarrass you in the worst times, make you laugh with all of their “great” jokes, and most of all love you when you need it the most. They may not understand everything their daughters go through, but they are always there supporting you no matter what! I am lucky enough to have a father like this. 

My father constantly reminds of beautiful I am. From a young age he has shown me how I deserve to be treated. He always reminds me that I am loved, and for that I am truly thankful because he always makes me feel worthy. From the time I was a little girl, he has thought me many lessons. The one that has stood out the most is the saying “nothing good comes easy.” Whenever I would be stressed, or having a difficult time he would always remind of this. It’s something I use to get me through the hard times and will pass down to the generations after me.

 I admit that I am jealous seeing a complete family, I am hurting every time I see a person who's always making his father suffer. Every time he will "unta namatay na lang ka, kanus a paman ka mamatay uy?" Why does it happened? I believe there's a reason behind all of our hatred and I understand it. 

MUST WATCH!

It's very painful when my father died, because I'm only in my fourth grade, It's also the year wherein my sister will have her high school graduation, and the most painful it's the day after the birthday of my brother. At first, I'm always asking God, Why me? Why not others?Why not the other fathers died?

My view of the world also changed. Before Dad died, I was young, innocent, and naive. I saw God’s beauty in the smallest things – plants starting to bud, cocooning butterflies, the exact color blue of the sky. When I found a four-leaf clover, Dad laminated it for me to preserve that small wonder. When I had questions, Dad would answer them. He always had the answers. The world had infinite joys to discover and I had endless curiosity. Life seemed to go on forever and I never thought about death.

After the funeral, that all changed. I lost my parent, my hero, and my teacher. I thought a lot about death and dying. I still had plenty of questions, but nobody to answer them. And they certainly weren’t fun questions.

So I learned things on my own – great big things that I couldn’t have understood any other way. I learned the importance of telling people that you love them. Don’t ever let them wonder how you feel. Of all the things I regret, missing the chance to say “I love you” will never be one of them. I also learned to never pass up an opportunity to give or receive a genuine hug. When Dad was dying, I was terrified. I didn’t know how to act, what to say, so I sat in silence. He asked me, “Aren’t you going to give me a hug?” When we hugged, he started to cry. That memory has broken my heart ever since. He never should have had to ask. There are few words and fewer acts that can convey more emotion, more truth than a hug. They are the simplest, most perfect way to ease despair, to share joy, to demonstrate empathy, or to show love. Anyone who knows me knows that my hugs are free and frequent. But despite of this experience, I'm always thankful for all the things that happened to me.

What Does KakaiBabe Mean?

“Being a female is a matter of birth, being a woman is a matter of age, but being a lady is a matter of choice.”

Kakaibabe comes from two words kakaiba and babe,kakaiba means different and babe means what you call your boyfriend/girlfriend... but the question is do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend?

I know that you're thinking right know about why did I include this topic. Sir Mon, our beloved adviser, who is the reason why we made this blog is also the one who is responsible of letting us search any OPM songs of our choice on YouTube.com. I picked this song because aside from the significant meaning of it, I also appreciate its melody. I wanted solemn songs in reality just like Rey Valera's songs, Charice, Noel, Angeline and many more.

Strong Amazing Woman is every guys' dream girl. As I've watched many couples nowadays, girls are really superior than boys because some boys just shut their mouth and listen to girls but once they are really upset and their true colors will burst out. It will just made you shocked, therefore you must be ready as always if your man is less talkative, he is a short-tempered man and he's the one who's easy to get angry.

A lady has a strong sense of right and wrong and is passionate to see the oppressed redeemed. A lady is not spineless. She defends the truth even when it isn’t popular. A lady is never above thanking someone, no matter who or how small it seems. She is sincerely thankful and always expresses her gratitude in a meaningful way.  A lady knows that her identity is rooted in her Maker. Her strength and vision come from daily prayer.

Mango Float: Is It Literally Floating?

We all love desserts! 

 Even if things end up a bit too heavy, we'll all float on.

This is one of my favorite foods in the world. When I was young, I always wandering why it is called Mango Float. Is it really floating? I mean literally? That sounds funny but I always enjoy seeing my mother, aunt, cousin and many more making Mango Floats. It's less expensive and it's very easy to make. I love it because of its unique flavor, color, and even the smell of grahams I can feel it.

For some, specially the kids, dessert is the best part of the meal.

But we all know how tedious and difficult it is to come up with delicious desserts, specially when talking about cakes. Of course, there’s an exception: the Mango Float or some people call it the Mango Ref Cake.

This ‘cake’ is really, really easy ( I wish I could give more emphasis) yet it is also so yummy at the same time! I remember, as a kid, this is the very first cake I made by myself.

Why not teach your kids to make one by themselves too. I’m sure they’ll love the cake as much as they’ll enjoy making it. Plus, I’m sure the whole family will love it too.

Learn how to make Mango Float here:

INGREDIENTS:

• 2 cups of fresh mangoes (thinly sliced)
• 1 box Graham crackers
• 1 tbsp Crushed Grahams (you can crush them yourself)
• 1 can all- purpose cream
• 1 can condensed milk

HOW TO MAKE:

1. In a rectangular glass baking dish (or any rectangular container than can be frozen), arrange 8 to 10 pieces of graham crackers, then set aside.
2. Chill the all-purpose cream for 30 minutes then whip it in a bowl.
3. Fold the whipped cream with condensed milk, then mix well.
4. Spread the milk and cream mixture over the layered Graham crackers placed at the bottom of the dish.
5. Spread out the thin sliced mangoes evenly on top of the cream mixture.
6. Make another layer of graham crackers; spread the cream then the mango slices.
7. You can opt to do as many layers as you want.
8. Garnish topmost layer with mangoes and sprinkle the crushed graham.
9. Chill the Mango Float for at least 2 to 3 hours before serving. Enjoy!

A SWEET FRIENDSHIP refreshes THE SOUL

We did not realize we were making memories, we just knew we were having fun.

I never had any friends just like the ones I had when I was in Junior High. I believe that my friends Joanna, Rejeane, Lyra and Devine are God's gift.  Friendship is not about who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life saying "I'm here for you" and proved it. I have a lot of friends ... I consider all of them because we are true friends ... never apart maybe in distance but never in heart. Truly Great Friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget.    

Even if we're now in senior high, we are always communicating. Even from half a world away or just different schools, d istance can not stop that connection. We are always wondering what would be our future lives, we are always talking about possible things that might happen to us. Even thou sometimes we are not complete because of different businesses busy we can not lose words to talk about if we meet. I hope that our friendship will last forever even if nothing lasts forever. We are really different in terms of fashion, styles, habits but we are one in terms of FOOD! I know that sometimes my fashion is not like them, and that's the reason why they laugh at me :) but I always understand it. Thank you because you never left me despite my flaws. You never leave me alone when I'm feeling down and you're always there for me. This is the first time that I used Blog and I'm thankful because I can express what I feel, but at least NOT ALL. For all the times that 

The most beautiful discovery true friends make is that they can grow separately without growing apart. because it's the mind that gets angry and the heart still cares. The purpose of a relationship is to infuriate and overjoy and destroy us, so we can see what angers us, what thrills us, and where we need to give ourselves love. The purpose of a relationship is not to fix us or heal us, or to make us whole and happy, it is to show us where we need fixing, and what parts of us are still broken, and perhaps the most brutal of all: that nobody can do this work, or make us happy, but ourselves.

A happy relationship is something more, something that shows the relationship meaningful. A relationship has a purpose .  goal is happiness, contentment, security or safety?  

Is in the dictionary 'target' defined as:   something that you're trying to achieve . And with that definition in mind, you might ask yourself, "What is the purpose of my relationship?" My 

For me, it is hard to enter in a relationship that you are not aware what you really feels. It's just like sailing your boat down the road. I can not imagine myself having a boyfriend and the worst is having a family. Relationship is being related to the people you love, when we say love it is abstract. Sometimes you do not know that your future husband or wife is your classmate, enemy, neighbor, teacher, manager, driver, schoolmate, and worst cousin. You can not predict whom you're in love with. You just can not walk inside the room without using the door, just like in a relationship, you can not just love without even knowing the true meaning of it.

Of course this is my first time and let me tell you what I really feel inside my heart.

Choosing a topic is very difficult stage for me, because of many ideas in my mind so before I come up with "This Is Why We Love" there are so many problems that I have faced. So let's proceed ... I would not have said this time, but yes, I am obviously nervous and trying to run away. I'm a first-timer in creating Blog and so far it's very difficult in my part. I felt like a failure every single day thinking about making blogs, but I refused to admit this to anyone.

I could not admit that it really sucks and makes me sick. 

However, this is a very interesting topic especially to those people who are IN LOVE, IN RELATIONSHIP, COMPLICATED, SEPARATED, ONE-SIDED, BROKENHEARTED, FALL OUT OF LOVE, FRIEND ZONE, ZONE AND DELIVERED ETC. This is Why We Love talks about   We Are Slowly Developing the Ape,  Parental Investment and Human  Mating  Systems,  The Evolutionary Function of Love, and  The Bottom Line.

WHY DO WE LOVE?

Have you ever think about why do people love? What's the purpose? What's the reason behind? How do people forgive easily if they're in love? Did you ever experienced loving someone who loves you back?

Why Do We Fall In Love? (Based on the psychology of falling in love)

You were walking down the street, nothing was unusual and then suddenly she came out from a nearby shop and it happened that you fell in love with her at first sight! Huh !! What happened? !!

The answer is simple, its all related to how your mind works. If you are single or are currently in a relationship then your mind will always be on a hunt for your long awaited partner. Even if you think that you do not care about relationships now still you will fall in love with the first person who matches your criteria.

But why she? Why not someone else?

Each one of us has got some kind of a check list stored into his mind which includes the criteria that a person must meet in order for you to love him. If a person did not match some of the items in this list then he becomes disqualified to be a potential partner and you will think of him as a friend. The items in your check list are of course unique and specific to you depending on your background, values, past experiences and beliefs.
